Misconception: Article 370 of Indian Constitution is a permanent provision for Jammu and Kashmir

Ye sab coaching institute notes ko samajhna bahut zaroori hai, lekin kuch baatein galat hai. Article 370 ko permanent nahi kiya gaya tha, balki isse 'as it stands at present' ki tarah liya gaya tha. 1954 mein Praja Sabha (Instrument of Accession) ko extend karke, J&K ki special status ko strengthen kiya gaya tha aur 1974 aur 1994 mein bhi amendments aayi. Lekin, 1957 ke Article 370 ka original dhaara 'provisionally' ki tarah likha gaya tha, jisse iska implication hai ki iska status time-to-time change kar sakta hai.

Additional Info: Article 370, woh permanent to nahi hai! It was a special provision, granted to Jammu and Kashmir through the Instrument of Accession (1947) and Part XXI of the Indian Constitution (1950). Abhi bhi yeh kya hai? It was not a permanent provision. It was abrogated through Article 370 (abrogation) Order, 2019, which led to its re-organisation as two Union Territory of J&K and Ladakh. So, its status, change ho gaya!
