Mental Note for Evidence Act - Sec 59: Best Evidence Rule

Woo-hoo finally cracked it! So, all these days I was struggling with Sec 59 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, and today I got it - the Best Evidence Rule. So, basically, this rule states that the best evidence that can be produced must be produced. But here's the thing - what's best evidence? I was all confused - was it the original document, an electronic document, or maybe an audio/video recording? After re-reading Section 59, I realized it's more about the type of evidence and its reliability. If the original document can't be produced, then secondary evidence can be used. It's like a puzzle, and I finally found the missing piece!

I feel so much more confident now, especially for CLAT PG and AILET PG. I practiced a few questions, and my score went up significantly.

Aap logon ko shubhkamnayein, sabhi kushalta ke saath Evidence Act ka study ho rahe hain. Main aapke sath ek baat karta hoon, Section 59 (Best Evidence Rule) bahut important hai. Agar anya vikalp available hote hain, toh koi bhi evidence to sabse pehle best evidence ka proof karna chahiye. Aap logon ko is baat ka dhyan rakhna hoga.
