Mental Matrix of Mitakshara
contract judiciary intermediate study_tipYaar, I was preparing for Contract law and was stuck on the distinctions between Mitakshara and Dayabhaga Schools of Hindu Law. I made a mental matrix, a grid with the key features of each school. Columns for 'property', 'succession', 'capacity', and 'injunctions' helped me visualize the differences. I associated each concept with a word or phrase, like ' Mitakshara = maternal grandfather's property, Dayabhaga = father's property'. This simple hack helped me remember the nuances of each school.
Has anyone else found a similar trick to simplify Contract law? Maybe a mnemonic device for articles in the Indian Contract Act, 1872?
