MCA Registration under Companies Act, 2013
company ts_lawcet advanced trick_questionDosto, don't be fooled by the simplicity of this question. It's actually a trap. Most students think it's a straightforward question about MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) registration, but there's a catch. In the Companies Act, 2013, every company has to get registered with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) within a time limit of 30 days from the date of incorporation (Sec 12, CA 2013). But, there's a provision under the same Act (Sec 366) that states that every company, at any time after its registration, can apply to the Tribunal for cancellation of its name on certain grounds. Question - Which is not a reason for cancellation of name of a company (Sec 366, CA 2013)?
Think carefully before you jump to conclusions, friends.
