Kuch socha hua hai: Independent Contractors ke case mein, wo kya occupier hain? Toh kya unhe bhi jo lagta hai, milne ki zaroorat hai? Mere teacher ne kaha tha ki nahin, kyon ki unke paas control nahin hoga. Lekin mujhe lagta hai ki yeh samajhne mein asaan nahin hai. Aur kya koi case hai jo is baat ka judhwaa ho?

Bhai, I think our prof was bang on when he said independent contractors are liable under Occupiers' Liability Act, 1957. If an independent contractor is on a property and causes injury, the property owner can be held liable, not just the contractor. But what if the contractor has his own insurance? Does that absolve the occupier of liability?
