Kaun sa Police Officer Jail jaayega?

Yeh sawal karna sachmuch interest lag jayega. Suppose a Senior Police Inspector, say a DSP, don't get me wrong, I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, is accused of framing a common citizen in a robbery case. He uses his power to plant evidence, fabricate a statement, and pressurize witnesses to give false testimonies. Now, under Section 195 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), intentionally giving a false statement to a police officer as a witness, is punishable by law. But, what if the DSP uses the power of his rank to influence the investigation and tamper with evidence, will it fall under the Indian Evidence Act or the IPC? Aur agar DSP uske baad kuch aisa bhi karta hai jo kanoon ke khilaaf hai, toh kya use jail jaaney ki sambhavna hoti hai?
