Don't get me wrong, our own Constitution is a masterpiece, but we're not the US. We're a country with a different history, different cultural nuances, and different socio-economic challenges. By trying to mimic the US model, we're not preparing ourselves for the realities of our own Constitutional Law. What we are doing is training a generation of lawyers in abstract, theoretical arguments that are irrelevant to the practical issues they'll face.
