Jurisprudence Quagmire - Which is Not a Valid Source of Law?

jurisprudence cuet_pg intermediate mcq_debate

Yaar, I'm stuck on this CUET PG Law question. Rohan (my friend from law prep) and I are having a massive debate on this one. MCQ is: "Hindu Law, Islamic Law, Buddhist Law are examples of which source of law?"

Rohan's argument is that these are examples of "Non-Statutory Law" (kya yaar, isse to clear hai hi nahi!) - since they originate from religious texts and not legislative enactments. I, on the other hand, am saying that these are not even a valid source of law - because law doesn't come from religious texts (Aur kya, constitution to religious freedom chhod diya hai na?).

So, kya aap logon ka faisla karein - non-statutory law ho ya kuch aur?
