Judicial Overreach?

Aam Aadmi Party's CM orders the removal of a senior IAS officer without giving any reason, citing administrative discretion. However, the officer claims the real reason is her stand against a multi-billionaire businessman's illegal land deal, which the state govt. is trying to cover up. The officer seeks a stay on her removal and also moves SC, claiming the CM's order is a violation of her fundamental right to life and liberty (Article 21). The officer also claims the removal order is discriminatory, as she was a stickler to rule of law, whereas many other corrupt officers were not touched.

What legal remedy would you apply in this situation? Can the officer directly challenge the CM's order? Can SC grant interim relief?
