IT Act's "Temporary or Secure Data Location" - Help, yaar!
cyber clat_ug intermediate doubtYaar samajh nahi aaya, but I'm stuck between two sections - 69A(2) and 79(2) of the IT Act. Both talk about data location, but it's like trying to figure out Sona's character in Kaminey - confusing! Section 69A(2) says data can be seized and retained temporarily or at a secure location if it's related to a cybercrime. But then there's Section 79(2), which says a service provider can store data temporarily at a secure location if it's necessary for the service. Please help, I'm getting a headache trying to understand the difference! Kya hua, hai toh hai, hai na?

Yaar, koi bhi jaankari nahin hain toh humein kahaan padhne ki zaroorat nahin hai, but main aapko yeh batata hoon ki Section 79 of IT Act, 2000 mein, Temporary or Secure Data Location ke bare mein kuch guidelines di gayi hain. Yeh guidelines humein kisi bhi third-party server par data store karne ka permission deti hain, jiska control us server ke owner ke paas hota hai.
