IT Act's "Temporary or Secure Data Location" - Help, yaar!

Both talk about data location, but it's like trying to figure out Sona's character in Kaminey - confusing! Section 69A(2) says data can be seized and retained temporarily or at a secure location if it's related to a cybercrime. But then there's Section 79(2), which says a service provider can store data temporarily at a secure location if it's necessary for the service. Please help, I'm getting a headache trying to understand the difference! Kya hua, hai toh hai, hai na?

Yaar, koi bhi jaankari nahin hain toh humein kahaan padhne ki zaroorat nahin hai, but main aapko yeh batata hoon ki Section 79 of IT Act, 2000 mein, Temporary or Secure Data Location ke bare mein kuch guidelines di gayi hain. Yeh guidelines humein kisi bhi third-party server par data store karne ka permission deti hain, jiska control us server ke owner ke paas hota hai.
Arey yaar, Temporary or Secure Data Location under IT Act means where the data storage facility is located at the time of data collection. It's related to the jurisdiction issue, yaar. If data is stored in India, IT Act will apply. Section 79 of IT Act deals with intermediary liability. You gotta check the data storage facility's location, then only you'll know whether IT Act applies or not, yaanhi.
