IPC Section 375 - Abetment to Rape

Yaar, everyone thinks this one's a cakewalk, but trust me, it's a trap. Question: 'A husband is acquitted of rape charges under Section 375(4) IPC as the victim is his legally wedded wife. Can he be convicted under Section 107 IPC for abetting the rape of his wife by others?' Sounds easy peasy, but most students make a huge mistake here.

They think that since the husband can't be convicted of rape, he can't be convicted of abetting it either. But here's the catch - Section 107 IPC deals with criminal conspiracy, not abetment. Abetment is a specific offence under IPC, which has its own definition and section (Section 107 is for conspiracy with s. 120B).
