I'm not saying all cases are fake, but the statistics are alarming. According to a study by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in 2020, 85% of 498A cases were filed under "harassment" without any tangible evidence. It's a fishing rod for women to blackmail their husbands' families. I'm not a misogynist, but can't we have a more nuanced discussion on the issue?
