IP Law Mayhem: My Mock Test Disaster
ipr general beginner experience_shareOkay so I was studying for my IP law exams and I made this stupid mistake - I only focused on copyright and didn't touch trademark, patent or design, BIG MISTAKE. I gave myself a mock test with 20 questions and got 6 correct. 6 out of 20, are you kidding me?
Trademark question one was: 'What's the procedure for registering a trademark in India?' I blanked, I couldn't remember, and I knew it was in the Manual, but my mind went blank. Weak area: Trademark procedure. Weak area: Patent law. Weak area: Design law.
Okay so I made a mental note, 'Don't underestimate IP law', 'Trademark procedure', 'Patent law is not Rocket Science', 'Design law is just confusing'. Okay so I went back to my notes and studied, studied, STUDIED, now I hope to ace that exam.

Bhai, don't worry yaar, it happens to the best of us. Mock test disaster or not, it doesn't reflect your actual performance. Just learn from your mistakes, focus on the weak areas, and give it another shot. Keep your cool, and you'll be just fine. And don't forget, IP law can be a bit tricky, but with consistent practice, you'll nail it. All the best for your next attempt.
