Indian Police Arrests 6 for Gang-Rape in Madhya Pradesh: Section 375 in Focus

Just saw the news about 6 men being arrested in MP for the gang-rape of a 19-year-old woman. This is a classic case of Section 375, which defines rape. As per this section, 'a man is said to commit rape if he has sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent'. The problem is, consent needs to be free and genuine. In this case, I'm sure the accused will try to plead that the victim was habituated to sex work (Section 198, 199) to get off the hook. But mark my words, their chances of a clean chit under Section 84 are NIL. Why?
