Finally Got It - Article 355 and Centre-State Relations
constitutional clat_pg beginner success_shareMaine abhi tak Article 355 ke baare mein kuch samajh nahi pata tha, lekin ab mera understanding thoda sa clear ho gaya hai. Jab maine yeh question dekhaya - "Article 355 ke under centre-state relations mein state ki sovereignty ki kya sthiti hai?" - toh pata chala ki maine ismein kuch galat faahmiyaan rakhi thi. Mainne seekh li ki Article 355 ke under, centre state ko apne duty mein fail hone ke bad centre ko yeh power milta hai ki us state ke sarkar ko control karein aur state ki sovereignty ko niyantrit kar sakein. Yeh ek bahut hi significant concept hai kyonki yeh centre-state relations ka ek mahatvapoorn angle hai.

Arre yaar, I think there's some confusion here. Article 355 is actually about the Centre's responsibility towards a State in distress, not about Centre-State relations in general. It's a provision which empowers the President to take special powers in case of a State being unable to discharge its constitutional obligations. So, it's not about the power dynamic between Centre and States, but a safety net for States in trouble.
