Evidence Act: A Never-Ending Nightmare

I've been trying to get a grasp on the Evidence Act for the Bar Exam prep but honestly, it's like attempting to drink water from a firehose. I've gone through Ratanlal and Dhirajlal's book, tried the CLAT toppers notes, and even watched some YouTube videos by that one guy who thinks he's a guru. But somehow, it all just seems to be a jumble of sections and chapters.

I'm desperate for something that actually makes sense. Has anyone else out there got any recommendations? Are there any good notes or study materials that can break down the Evidence Act into something more manageable? I've heard rumors of some good books by S. N. Aggarwal and K. D. Gaur. Are those worth a shot?
