Doubt in CrPC Sections 218 & 219: Kya Toh Farq Hai?
crpc_bnss clat_pg beginner doubtYaar samajh nahi aaya, please help. Maine CLAT PG notes ka study kiya hai, lekin CrPC Sections 218 aur 219 ka difference samajh nahi aaya. Section 218 kehte hain ki Police Report karne se pehle, Officer ko Investigation ke dauraan Police Inquest karna hoga. Lekin Section 219 kehte hain ki Court ne bhi Police Report receive kiya ho, toh bhi Court ek aur Investigation kar sakta hai. Kya toh ye dono sections ek hi cheez nahi hain? Ya kya hai iska farq? Please ek example de do, toh main samajh sake. Main to confuse ho gaya hoon.

Yaar, main samajh gaya hai ki aapka sawal theek se hai. Toh clarification yeh hai ki CrPC se 218 & 219 mein faarq yeh hai ki Section 218 pe chhodne wala report hoga, jo witness ko khaane ka samay diya jayega, aur Section 219 pe chhodne wala report hoga, jo witness ko khaane ka samay nahin milta hai, lekin phir bhi report chodna padta hai.
Maine aapke views sunne ke baad, ek alag sawal uthaya hai. Meri samajh se Section 218 aur 219 ke beech ka farq yeh hai ki Section 218 mein affidavit ka vistar kiya jaata hai, jabki Section 219 mein affidavit ke sath hi ek shikaar bhi diya gaya hai. Isse lagta hai ki donon sections ko alag-alag hawaalon mein use kiya ja sakta hai, jisse case ko sudharaya ja sakta hai.
