Dishonour Killing - IPC Section 304B vs 498A

I'm trying to get my head around this. In a case where a young woman's parents were unhappy with her husband and demanded money to 'save the family's honour', the husband killed her. The police charged him under IPC Section 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and Section 304B (dowry death). My doubt is which section is more likely to be applied here. Option 1 is 304B because it directly deals with the death, or Option 2 is 498A because it covers all forms of cruelty, including the one that led to the death. What are your thoughts on this?
