Dilemma with Appellate & Revisional Jurisdiction Under CPC

cpc du_llb advanced doubt

Yaar samajh nahi aaya! In CPC, under section 115, we have the provision of 'Revision', while section 115 is related to 'Letters of Request', but what I am confused about is the Appellate jurisdiction under section 39, which overlaps with the Appellate power of the High Court under articles 216 and 217 of the Constitution, please help. Can someone clarify why there's a distinction between Appellate and revisional jurisdiction of the High Court in certain matters?

I'm studying for DU LLB Entrance and I just can't wrap my head around this. Is it an either-or situation? Are the Appellate and Revisional powers of the High Court separate or can they coexist in certain instances? Can anyone throw light on this?

"Arrey, yeh to bahut hi kathin sawal hai (this is a very tough question). CPC mein appellate aur revisional jurisdiction ke bare mein dabaav hai (there is a lot of pressure regarding jurisdiction in appellate and revisional matters under CPC). Sabse pehle, aapko section 115 ke under revisional power ka dhyan rakna hoga (firstly, you have to keep an eye on revisional power under section 115).
