Dil mein IPC aur BNS ka confusion

cpc du_llb beginner doubt

Mujhe samajh mein kuch aisa laga jaise IPC (Indian Penal Code) aur BNS (Bailable and Non-bailable Sections) ek hi cheez hain. Bas ek dusre ke naam mein change ho gaya hai. IPC mein sections hain jo crime ka definition deti hain, aur BNS mein sections hain jo police ko darne ke liye hai, kya samajh aata hai.

Ek to IPC mein sections hain jo non-bailable hain, jaise 302 (murder), 302 ka non-bailable hai, aur dusri taraf bailable sections hain jo police wale darne ke liye hain, jaise 379 (dacoity). Lekin kya ab BNS mein bhi IPC sections hain? Ya fir uske alawa kuch hi sections hain?

Yaar, confusion toh common hai! IPC aur BNS don't have koi direct connection, but both are important laws related to crime. IPC (Indian Penal Code) is a set of laws that defines crime, while BNS (Bail, Newslbail, and Suspension) is related to the pre-trial custody and suspension of sentences. You need to understand IPC sections related to a specific case to argue bail or suspension under BNS.

Yaar, IPC aur BSN ka confusion dil mein toh aana normal hai. Lekin, don't worry! Sabse pehle, IPC mein sections ki classification karte hue, unhe categories mei divide karo - Offences against state, Offences against public order, etc. BSN ka case ho toh, usme IPC ka chapter-XXI dekhna karo - Cruelty by husband or relative of husband. Ek baar, yeh clear ho jayega!
