Differences between Joint Hindu Matrimony and Mitakshara School

family du_llb intermediate doubt

Yaar samajh nahi aaya, please help! I'm stuck on this Family Law question for DU LLB Entrance. I've read it thrice but still can't get it. In Hindu law, what's the difference between Joint Hindu Matrimony (JHM) and Mitakshara School? Are they the same thing or different concepts? I mean, the Mitakshara School is a school of Hindu law, but JHM is a type of joint property. Or is it not? I've seen some questions that mention them separately, but I'm all confused. Like, can a JHM be a part of the Mitakshara School, or not? Please help me out, anyone. I really need a clear understanding of this for the exam.
