Manav, a 25-year-old software engineer, created a fake social media profile of his ex-girlfriend, Ria, posting embarrassing and defamatory content. The posts went viral, and people began to troll Ria's real profile. Ria was devastated and filed a complaint with the police. The police referred the matter to the local cybercrime cell. Now, the cell wants to know whether Manav's actions constitute cyberharassment under the IT Act, 2000.
