CPC Ka Chakkar: A Judicial Services Mock Test Experience

Okay, so I just gave a mock test for Judicial Services and I'm still recovering from the trauma. CPC ke questions toh sunn lein, kya khaag? I was asked to apply Order 7 Rule 1 of the CPC, which basically says that a plaint cannot be rejected merely on the ground of non-jurisdiction. I thought I had it covered, but apparently not. The question was something like, "X v/s Y, plaintiff filed a suit for specific performance of a contract, but the court noticed that the plaint was not properly stamped. Can the court reject the plaint?" And, of course, I chose the option that said "yes", not realizing that CPC ke Orders ke baad Rule 4 comes into picture, which gives the court discretion to condone delay.
