Contract Law is Overemphasized in CLAT Prep

family clat_ug advanced hot_take

Maine socha tha I understand Contract, and then the paper happened ๐Ÿ’€. I'm guilty of this same mistake in my first year. Contract Law is like the ultimate villain in the CLAT Prep universe - everyone fears it, everyone hates it, but honestly, it's not as crucial as other subjects. The emphasis on Contract Law in CLAT Prep is way overhyped. In reality, only a handful of questions directly relate to Contract Law, while a whole lot more relate to General Principles of Law, Constitutional Law, or even other subjects like Torts or Property Law. I think we should rethink our approach and focus more on developing a solid understanding of general legal principles instead of just Contract Law formulas. What do you guys think? Have I gone mad?

Ye contract law ka drama kya hadd ho gaya hai? Sabke paas to CLAT prep hai, bas focus karna hai. Aur agar tu think kar raha hai ki contract law ka excess emphasis ho raha hai, to tu CLAT ki real challenges ko samjhna hai. Property law, torts, constitutional law sabhi toh ek jalsa hai, tabhi hoga real prep.

Arre bhai, you're right. Contract Law holds immense weight in CLAT prep, don't get me wrong. But, yaar, other areas like Constitutional Law, Torts, and Property Law also deserve some serious attention. In an actual law exam, these subjects will test your analytical skills, not just Contract Law. Remember, a balanced prep is key. Allocate your time wisely, don't overdo it on Contract Law. It's all about striking a balance, you feel?

Arre yaar, I think people are getting too carried away with CLAT prep methodology. Contract Law is an essential subject, koi doubt? But is it the only thing we should focus on? I mean, we have torts, property, constitutional laws too. Let's not forget that CLAT is not just about Contract Law. We need to study everything in balance, aapka khayal hai? Overemphasis on Contract Law can lead to exam-focussed learning, not real understanding.
