I'm saying it - Contract Law syllabus in TS LAWCET is heavily biased towards the privileged. Why do we have to spend so much time learning about Specific and Exclusive Agreements? Are these really that common in real life? Meanwhile, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, is all about 'free consent' - but what about the 'free' part when it's not? We're not taught about consumer law or how to handle situations where one party is being taken advantage of.

Let's be real, most lawyers in India are making a killing in corporate law or real estate. Why not teach us something useful?
