Contract Law Blues: From Disaster to Method

I thought I knew contract law, I really did. Had it all down to 'offer', 'acceptance', and 'consideration' - the ABCs of contracts. But Judicial Services is no joke. The questions aren't just about definitions; they're about nuances, case law, and applying principles to weird scenarios. I was woefully unprepared for the depth and breadth of the subject. I'd just memorized formulas without understanding the underlying logic. It showed in my poor performance - I tanked on contract-based questions. So, I did a 180. I dropped the rote learning and started digging deeper. Now, I focus on understanding the evolution of contract law, key cases, and their implications. I've even set up a mock board to simulate actual exam conditions. Still plenty to improve, but at least I know what's going wrong.
