Constitutional Law Conundrums: MH CET Law 2020
constitutional mh_cet_law intermediate experience_shareI still remember this question from MH CET Law 2020. We were given 3 hours, 100 marks, and 50 questions. I got 72 marks. Question 26 reads: "The Parliament has no power to make laws imposing any prohibition on the production, consumption, possession or sale of intoxicating drinks or of opium, opium derivatives, coca leaves or any other controlled substances." - True (T) or False (F). I marked True. But later I realized my mistake. Article 47 doesn't specifically mention the production or consumption of intoxicating drinks, but Article 47(a) does talk about temperance in public life. This was my weak area, articles under Directive Principles in Part IV of the Indian Constitution.
