Confusion between Judicial Review and Writ Jurisdiction: Help Needed

jurisprudence ailet advanced comparison

Koi batao, main to phir se padha hoon. Judicial Review kiya hai aur Writ Jurisdiction kiya hai. Dono mein kya fark hai exactly? Jabki Judicial Review ki baat hoti hai, toh humein lagta hai ki yeh Writ Jurisdiction ke saath relate hoti hai. Lekin, agar yeh dono alag-alag cheezein hain, to difference kitni hai. Judicial Review mein court ki power hai ki voh koi bhi kaanooni decision badal sake, toh Writ Jurisdiction ka matlab hai ki court ke paas woh power hai ki voh koi bhi person ya govt ko notice diya sake aur orders bhi de sake. Lekin, ismein fark kya hai?

I think main difference between judicial review aur writ jurisdiction is yeh don't need to be confused about. Judicial review is broader concept which includes both writ jurisdiction and other types of review. Writ jurisdiction specifically refers to power to grant interim reliefs like stay/injunction. So, to say there's confusion between these is not right, we just need to understand the definitions properly.

Accha, bhai, don't worry, yeh confusion bahut common hai. Judicial review aur writ jurisdiction ka difference sach mein kuchh hi hota hai. Judicial review hai Supreme Court ke paas kai cases par faisla karnay ka adhikar, jabki writ jurisdiction hai high courts aur supreme court ke paas case mein adalate ki faisla ki sahayta karne ka adhikar. Samjha?
