Confusing Intent Behind Abetment of Suicide and Abetment of Culpable Homicide

Yaar samajh nahi aaya, I'm really stuck here. Can someone please help me out. In IPC, section 306 (abetment of suicide) and section 510 (Culpable Homicide by doing any really dangerous act knowingly) are kinda similar, but not exactly. When I read the two sections together, I get this 'confusion ki doodh ka doodh' feeling. Both sections talk about abetment, right? But in 306, it's abetment of suicide, whereas in 510, it's culpable homicide (which can lead to murder). My doubt is - what's the difference between abetting a person to commit suicide, and abetting a person to do some really dangerous act which might lead to homicide? Are there different intentions behind these sections?
