Confusing Distinctions: 'Causa Proxima' vs 'Remote Cause' under CPC
cpc clat_pg intermediate doubtYaar samajh nahi aaya, can someone pls explain the difference between 'causa proxima' and 'remote cause' in the context of Section 33 of the Civil Procedure Code? Don't I keep learning the same stuff over and over again? According to what I've read, both seem to point towards the same thing - assigning liability to a person whose act caused a harm even if not the direct cause. But when it comes to actual court judgments, judges seem to refer to them differently in different cases. I mean, is it the same or not? Ab kya hoga if judges keep using these terms interchangeably? Please help, I've got my CLAT PG exams coming up and I still can't seem to get a grip on this. Kya main hoon hi confused or kuch log toh main samajh nahi sakta?
