Confused by Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act

Mera problem ye hai ki Section 138 ka definition kaha se apply hota hai, jaise kya kuch specific condition lagti hai, jo Section 138 ka application clear karein. Aur kya main galti se Section 138 ka application Section 141 se compare kar raha hoon, jisse mujhe lagta hai Section 138 aur Section 141 ka application clash karta hai. Anyone else feel ye confusion?

Arre, don't worry, Section 138 is quite tricky. So, basically, Section 138 is about dishonour of cheques, right? It says if someone issues a cheque and it bounces, they're guilty of committing an offence if the cheque amount is less than Rs 1 lakh. Koi issue hai, they need to pay the cheque amount + 300% as a penalty. Simple, na?
