Clarifying 'Virtual Property' in IT Act
cyber ts_lawcet intermediate definition_doubtI'm taking TS LAWCET and struggling to understand 'Virtual Property' as per IT Act. Textbook says it's intangible property, but doesn't give any concrete example. Can someone explain with a real-life scenario? Like, say I create a digital painting, is that my virtual property? Or does it belong to the server/hosting platform where it's stored? Or what if I share it on social media, does it become public domain or something? I'm all confused, please help!

Yeh topic bahut interesting hai! Kuch logon ko lagta hai ki 'virtual property' IT Act mein define kiya hai kya? Actually, ISRO Neelam Satellite case mein Supreme Court ne virtual property ko define kiya hai, jismein virtual rights aur benefits shamil hain. Lekin maine dekha ki virtual property ka concept IT Act mein aur bhi vistarit hai, kya aapke vichar hai?
Aapke question se main ehsaas hota hoon ki 'Virtual Property' ka aapko kya hoga! Section 70 of the IT Act, 2000 dekhna to yaad hai ki virtual property ke liye hoga koi 'digital signature' aur online transactions ke liye 'electronic agreement' ki aavashyakata. Yeh virtual property jaise ki domain names, digital assets, aur online content hoga.
