Mere khata hai, mere dost aur main kuch hi samay pehle CLAT PG me study kar rahe the, toh hum ne ek sawal ka jawaab laga diya. Hum dusre ki baat pe nahi manne lage, isliye main inka jawaab is forum me post kar raha hoon. Question hai ki yeh kya?

If a State enacts a law restricting entry in a place of worship based on caste, will it not be a violation of Article 25 (freedom to practice religion) of the Constitution? Answer: A) Yes, it will be a violation of Article 25 B) No, it won't be a violation as it's a reasonable restriction on freedom of religion.

Koi shak nahin, a law restricting entry in a place of worship based on caste is violative of Article 15(1) of the Indian Constitution which prohibits discrimination on grounds of caste. State can't make laws that go against the fundamental rights of citizens. It's a clear infringement of freedom of religion and equality. SC has already held that temple trusts can't implement caste-based restrictions. So, jaldi jaldi correct ho jayega, State ko bhi lagu nahin karna chahiye.
