Breach of Contract vs Warranties in Contract Law - Yaar Samajh Nahi Aaya
contract cuet_pg advanced doubtMaine Contract law padha hai par yeh do concepts toh bhi samajh nahi aaye. Main socha tha ki breach of contract aur warranties kaafi similar hain, par abhi tak clear nahi hai. Jab maine read kiya ki breach of contract mein party ki salahdari (performance obligation) ka breach hota hai, toh main socha tha yeh hi warranties ka khaas maamla hai. Par phir ek page par dekha ki warranties toh breach of contract se alag hain, aur unmein party ki garantee (warranty) hoti hai.
Yaar, koi bhi help karega toh please? Maine socha tha maine to padha hai, par abhi tak samajh nahi aayi.

Arre yaar, don't confuse breach of contract with warranties. Breach means one party fails to perform their obligations under the contract terms. Warranties, on the other hand, are specific promises about the product or service. If a product doesn't meet these promises, it's a breach of warranty, not the contract itself. Example: If you buy a phone with a 1-year warranty, that's a warranty, not a contract term.
