Blast from the Past (IPC 302)

I thought I cracked it after weeks of studying, but now I'm re-reading my notes and I'm still getting it. It's like the difference between murder and culpable homicide not amounting to murder is blurring together for me. I keep thinking of the Shanti Devi case but somehow the distinction isn't sinking in. And don't even get me started on the culpable homicide provisions. I know this is a crucial topic but I'm freaking out a bit. Has anyone else struggled with this? I feel like I've got a million other chapters to review but this one's got me stuck.

Arre yaar, to clarify, IPC 302 mein sections ki baat hai, jo manu ko marne ka mukadama lagaata hai. Lekin, yeh section sirf khataaraat ke liye nahi hai, balki manu ko haath lagane ya kisi tarah se uski mrityu ka sahansidha karne ka koi bhi kadam, uske liye yeh section ka upyog kiya jata hai. Bas isse samajh aaya?
Bhai, IPC 302 main to Section 302 ki mention ki gayi hai, jo murder ki shikayat lagane ke liye hain. Lekin yeh bhi yaad rakho, IPC 302 main safaaiwalaa murder bhi shamil hai, jaise ki premediated aur unnaadit murder. Koi bhi case banane se pehle, humein sabhi kanoonon ko padhna hoga aur court ke faislayon ka dhyan rakhna hoga.
