Article 19(1)(a) ka matlab hai ki har Indian citizen ko apne vichar, vishwas, ya samaj kee dhang ko express karne ka adhikar hai. Iska matlab hai, logon ko apne vichar vyakt karne, likhne, bolne ya pradarshan karne ka adhikar hota hai.
"Ek problem hai is article ke interpretation ke sath. Mere pochh se to Article 19(1)(a) ko free speech ke liye ek fundamental right mana jata hai. Lekin agar bas free speech hi ho jaye, toh log apne aapko apne ghar se baahar nahi nikhenge.
