Now, my friend Rohan's cousin, who scored a 90% in boards, got rejected from his favourite IIT, but some kid from a nearby district, who scored a 70%, gets a direct seat. Rohan is like, "Kya kar raha hai yeh jaati?!"
What legal remedy can Rohan's cousin use to challenge this policy? I mean, Article 14 ke under toh classification has to be reasonable, right?

Bhai, additional info pe dhyan dein. Article 14 ke liye, equality before law ka concept relevant hai. Lekin, 'equality before law' ke meaning se confusion ho sakti hai. Article 14 ke under, state ko equal treatment provide karna hai, lekin 'equal' means 'same' nahi, 'similar' hai. Similar conditions ke liye similar treatment, yehi Article 14 ka main point hai.
