Applying Doctrine of Exhaustion in Patent Law

Mujhe yeh puchhna tha CLAT PG 2021 meh: "A pharmaceutical company manufactures a patented medicine and exports it to another country where it sells it. Later, it imports the same medicine into India where it sells it through a local distributor. Is the sale of this medicine by the pharmaceutical company an infringement of the patent held by the patentee in India?" Aise question samajhne meh kai samay lag gaya tha. Correct approach kya hota hai?

Ab mere man mein thoda clear hai. Woh company ne India ke patent samiti se permission li hogi hi, kyonki yeh doctrine of exhaustion ki ganti nahi hai. Patent samiti ne kuch samay pehle hi iske haq mein foreign patent se exhaustion ki kala dikhadi hogi.
