Administrative Law: Section 28's Jurisdiction Dilemma
admin mh_cet_law beginner concept_confusionI'm totally lost here. Section 28 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 is just confusing me no end. According to me, yeh section says that only the Supreme Court can hear appeals against the High Courts, but then Article 226 of the Constitution seems to give the High Courts the power to review their own orders. Logically, it feels like Section 28 should apply only when a lower court is reviewing the High Court's order, not when it's the Supreme Court doing the reviewing. But all the toppers and online materials keep saying it's a no-brainer. Kya main hi galat hoon? Has anyone else struggled with this?
