Intellectual property (IP) law is often seen as an elite domain, accessible only to those with a deep understanding of complex concepts and arcane statutes. But the truth is, IP is all around us. It's the logos on your laptop, the music streaming on your phone, and the software powering your office computer. The TRIPS Agreement and its implementation have been criticized for prioritizing corporate interests over public needs.
